About Me
I had an early introduction to holistic approaches to health and disease, growing up in a family of art therapists in a country with one of the healthiest maternity care systems in the world. I spent a year in India & South East Asia in my late teens, exploring and studying Shiatsu (Japanese bodywork based on Chinese Medicine theory). I soon embarked on the integrated Master’s degree course at the European School of Osteopathy in Kent where I also ended up discovering my passion for birth work.
Over the last decade I have dedicated my time to supporting women and families perinatally as a (cranial) osteopath, birth and postnatal doula, student midwife, antenatal educator and breastfeeding supporter.
As a doula, I strive to blend the ancient wisdom surrounding childbirth with modern scientific knowledge. Click here to read more about my approach.
As an osteopath I can offer relief for pains, aches and discomfort, but also a space to rest and restore, to find a still-point in our fast paced lives. The physical body is a part of the whole person within a bigger picture. It accompanies us in all phases, transitions and initiations of life, where we face different experiences, challenges and joys. On the way, I love to offer you a space for healing, support, empowerment and wellbeing.
